Kayla graduated from Acadia University in 2021 with a Bachelors of Music Therapy degree and is now a practicing Music Therapist in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
While studying at Acadia, Kayla majored in voice focusing on classical performance and vocal technique. She enjoys all types of music and has experience singing a variety of genres.
Kayla has previous experience teaching privately and is currently offering voice lessons at Long and McQuade St John on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays. Her rate is $27 for a half hour.

Mary Louise is a music teacher based in Saint John with a music degree from the University of King’s College, Halifax, along with Royal Conservatory of Music training in both piano and voice and a broad range of musical experience. She works with students of all levels and enjoys exploring a wide range of musical styles.
Her lessons focus on developing strong foundational skills and building confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment. Mary Louise takes a flexible, student-centered approach, allowing each student to learn at their own pace while discovering what they love about music.
Outside of teaching, she loves spending time with her cats or playing board games with friends.
Mary Louise's rate is $27/half hour
Our Group Lessons:
This camp is aimed at ages 14+ and will do a deeper dive into more advanced rhythms, lead playing, and more complex melodic and harmonic materials! Come learn to jam in a group, final performance Friday @ 6pm!
This camp is aimed at ages 9-13 and will explore the fundamentals of playing in a group and gain fundamental skills in rhythm, melody, and harmony! Final performance Friday @ 6pm!
